![]() ![]() ![]() Her voice bank contains two voices: growl (noisy unpitched vocal) and space (capable of producing a discernible pitch, just plain weird). She can be used as a virtual death metal vocalist and a source of monster voices for game and film audio, and a synthesizer which generates strange textures. ![]() She is an entry in the 2016 KVR Developer Challenge, and on December 19th we hope to be able to update "an entry in" to "the winner of." She was created from recordings of a female death metal vocalist, but is capable of much more than just death metal growls. Marie Ork is a voice bank for the free Alter/Ego synthesizer by Plogue. (Download her voicebank here, requires Alter/Ego which is a free download from Plogue) if my frazzled attempt at an explanation didn't give it away, I still don't know a lot of the lingo.PLEASE VOTE FOR MARIE ORK IN THE 2016 KVR DEVELOPER CHALLENGE! I know this all sounds like total jargon and again this is a total shot in the dark, but if anyone knows how to make this dang thing work and actually hold on to lyrics that'd be dope! (I've only been using lmms a few months and I've been playing it relatively safe the whole time, so a lot of talk about it still goes way over my head. But there's no way of attaching any vocal sound to a note, so if I click something wrong it'll recite backwards ("llo-heh" if u will). Like, I'm not really sure how to put this into words, but.īasically, let's say I want to input just "Hello." I put in the two syllables into the VST, and then input them as notes on the PianoRoll. ^^" it works fine if i'm just using it for "ahhhh" vocals and so on but the second i have different kinds of lyrics it gets all tangled! there's no real way to know what sound is going to come out. ![]() and i'm beginning to wonder if it's even compatible with lmms. One problem: i can't figure out how to use it. it looks really neat and it's free, so my broke freshman year ass was like "hmm i need this" and in theory it's really cool! the voice bank i have is lovely, and once i figure it out, i can't wait to use it. So, basically, i downloaded the AlterEgo plugin. not sure how to ask these kinds of questions! ^^" Hey there! first post on the lmms forums, so uh, sorry if this is kinda tangled and incoherent. ![]()
